Kings Mountain Historical Museum is located in the preserved Georgian Revival style brick Post Office building built in 1939.  Located in the lobby with its original wooden vestibule, terrazzo flooring and copper light fixtures you will find the Gift Shop.

 Local artists provide the art work, pottery, jewelry, glass items, and wood turned creations that fill the shelves to explore and purchase for yourself or a gift for a friend.  

Also, there is a wonderful selection of North Carolina history books for young and old and children have several early style toys to choose from.
